Privacy Policy for True or False: Quiz Game

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it. We have designed the App to respect your privacy by default: it runs entirely on your device, works fully offline, and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

3. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect, request, or process any of the following:

• Personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or username.
• Account or login credentials (there is no account system).
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses.
• Location data of any kind.
• Contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone, or files.
• Usage analytics, behavioral data, crash logs sent to us, or telemetry.
• Payment or financial information (the App does not process purchases).

4. Information stored locally on your device

To provide core gameplay features, the App stores a small amount of non-personal information locally on your device only, using your device’s standard on-device storage (Android AsyncStorage/local storage):

• Best Challenge score — the highest score you have achieved in Challenge mode.
• Longest streak — the greatest number of consecutive correct answers you have reached.

Important points about this data:

• It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
• We have no access to it and cannot see it.
• It contains no personal information — only two numbers reflecting your game progress.
• You can delete it at any time using Settings → Reset Data inside the App, or by uninstalling the App, which removes it permanently.

5. Device permissions

The App requests no device permissions. Its Android manifest is configured to declare zero permissions. Opening the Privacy Policy or Terms of Service links hands off to your device’s web browser and does not require any permission from the App.

6. No third-party services, ads, or analytics

The App does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, social media SDKs, or other external services that could collect data about you. There are no trackers or cookies within the App.

7. Internet and network use

The App is designed to function fully offline. All questions are bundled inside the App, and gameplay does not require or use an internet connection. The only time your device may access the internet in connection with the App is if you choose to tap the in-app links to this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Service, which open in your separate web browser.

8. Links to external websites

The App contains links to legal pages (this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service) that open in your device’s browser. Once you leave the App, any website you visit is governed by its own privacy practices, not this Policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any site you visit.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is family-friendly and rated suitable for everyone. Because the App collects no personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the European Economic Area). No profiles are created and no data is transmitted. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, please note that the App has no mechanism to receive such information; nevertheless, you may contact us with any concerns.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Because the App does not collect or hold any personal data about you, we have no personal information to access, export, or delete on your behalf. The only App-related data is the local score data on your device, which is fully under your control and can be erased through the App’s Reset Data feature.

11. Data security

Because the App stores no data on external servers and transmits nothing, there is no server-side data at risk. The small amount of local score data is protected by your device’s own security. We still encourage you to keep your device secured with up-to-date software and a screen lock.

12. International users

The App can be used worldwide. Since no data is collected or transferred off your device, there are no international data transfers associated with the App.

13. App store providers

You obtained the App through a third-party platform (for example, Google Play). That platform may independently collect information in accordance with its own privacy policy when you download or update apps. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of those platforms.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
